I’ve always liked James Niehues’ artwork, so I went in expecting the site to feel more personal and established. The prints look good, and some parts of the site do feel legit, but the overall branding just felt kind of thin to me. I kept wanting more background, more of a story, or just clearer reassurance about what I was buying. It wasn’t bad, just not as authentic-feeling as I expected. Anyway.

A friend recommended this to me because they knew I’d love seeing the old trail maps, that part did bring back some nice memories. But overall, the site felt a bit clunky to use, and the prices seemed higher than I expected. I was hoping for a little more considering the cost.

Ordering was super simple and checkout took no time. I got the updates along the way, so I assumed it would show up quickly, but it ended up arriving a little later than I expected. Overall, still a smooth experience...

I ordered one of the ski map prints and I’m happy with it overall. The paper has a nice thick feel to it and doesn’t seem cheap at all, plus the little details in the map came out really crisp

The colors are really nice in person, though my print did look a bit darker than it did on my screen. It’s not a huge issue for me, but I figured it was worth mentioning

Shipping was totally fine and the print was packaged well, so no complaints there. I’m giving it 4 stars because I do really like it, it just wasn’t quite perfect

I was really looking forward to getting this print, but when it arrived, the packaging felt flimsy. As soon as I opened it, I noticed one of the corners was bent. For the price I paid, I expected it to be protected much better during shipping.

I reached out to ask about an order and the whole thing was frustrating. The replies took a while, and when they finally came through, they felt like generic copy-paste answers that didn’t really address what I was asking. I kept having to wait around just to get short, unhelpful responses. It didn’t feel like anyone was actually trying to help. Not a great experience.

The print itself looks really nice, so no complaints there. But am I the only one who thought the framing choices were kind of limited? There weren’t many styles to pick from, and the prices felt a little high for what you actually get. I was expecting more options before checkout. Next time I’d probably just buy it unframed.

The artwork is beautiful and it felt like a really personal, meaningful gift since he loves ski maps. I went in thinking it would be easy to browse around and maybe pick up a print, but the site made it more annoying than I expected. The artwork itself is really nice, but the way things were laid out had me feeling a bit misled, like certain collections or options seemed easy to find at first, then weren’t where I thought they’d be.

Pages loaded slowly for me, and on mobile everything felt cramped, so I kept tapping around just trying to get where I wanted. I don’t think it’s a terrible site, but the shopping experience definitely took away from the excitement of looking at the art.

The prints are nice overall. I kind of went with my usual shortcut of picking what looked good right away, but there just weren’t many resorts or sizes to choose from. Decent stuff, just a bit limited.
